Toddler Program

Our infants transition to the toddler program at 18 months, space allowing. Our toddler program child:staff ratio is 5:1. In the one to two weeks leading up to your child’s move to the toddler program she/he will visit the toddler room several times a week. 

The Toddler Introductory Days schedule is a minimum schedule which parents should adhere to but it may be extended depending on the needs of the child. Phone calls to inquire about your child are always welcome. 

Introductory Days for Toddlers: 

• Day 1: 9:00-11:00 am – Child participates in all activities secure in the company of a parent. Parent observes all activities and interacts with teaching staff.
• Day 2: 9:00-11:45 am – Child participates in all activities including lunch. Parent observes initially then leaves (9:30-11:00), returning in time to participate in lunch.
• Day 3 :9:00-2:30 pm – Child participates in all activities including nap. Parent observes initially then leaves, returning as children wake up from nap.
• Days 4-5: full days – Parent should be available to assist child if necessary (staff member will call).
